The Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) announced that an additional three COVID-19 testing sites across the state have been created through a partnership between Publix, FDEM and Quest Diagnostics. These sites will open on Thursday, June 4, 2020. The testing sites will be located in three Publix parking lots for FDEM to conduct COVID-19 testing.

The start of summer doesn’t mean the end of free meals for children. The School Food Service summer feeding program begins on Tuesday, June 2, at 50 school locations throughout the School District. On Thursday, June 4, and through the summer, food distribution will expand to 52 school locations, with the addition of Pleasant City Elementary School and Bear Lakes Middle School. Food distribution is from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
